Electronic passthrough will let you adjust aperture for sure, and most focus by wire lenses will work in manual focus mode. Autofocus compatibility (and performance) will vary by lens and camera, so don't expect this to work as quickly as a native Sony lens. Nevertheless, a good little adapter.
