Lovely Late 19th C Floral Watercolor Friendship Picture original Naef blocks Signed (incised) on undersideI find myself looking a lot at antique floral botanical watercolors these days, as who doesn't need little doses of loveliness wherever we can find them? I really love the delicacy of this one, combining rose and rosebuds, pansies, and forget me nots which, together with the text below it, in Dutch I believe, make for quite a sweet token of fondness, sent from one friend to another. (The text may be an excerpt from a poem, but I've found it a bit of a
