Chinese bronze enameled box Drawn in pencil along theYesterday I came across a bunch of old handmade valentines, including this one, filling me with total joy. This may be my favorite of the lot a bit unassuming on the outside, though with this lovely scalloped edging, but then inside 4 hearts for our dear Frank, who I'm very sad seems never to have chosen one to give back to our Emily, who clearly expended a great deal effort on him! Another one that makes my heart ache. 5 3 4" x 3 3 4" closed. C. 1900
