which I do not believe detracts

but almost never find a complete deck that is within my reach

These are French (and came straight from a seller in France) with the Jack of Clubs featuring the Gatteaux mark on shield, the Ace of Clubs featuring a 1890 tax stamp, and pips showing pretty paper watermarks. Really lovely, and in great shape, with a blue and white tight honeycomb pattern on the backs. Cards measure 3 5 16" x 2 1 8". 52
