perhaps in the early hours of the morning

The box is very well worn

3 3/4" l x 2 7/8" t x 1 1/4" w and in great condition

and I don't believe it's design could be improved upon at all

William's method was a highly influential and widely adopted one though one not infrequently sees old charcoal and graphite drawings done by students in academy following the instruction on these very pages. And in fact it was fairly recently reprinted by Windham press available in paper back or as an e book!
