I believe it is about half scale of the actual bird--4 5/8" from tip of beak to tip off tail feathers

and also for boxes with puzzle-type lids--so of course I really love this one which is both

And indeed the antique punch paper embroidery one most commonly sees declares "God Bless Our Home." I'd not seen this "Ninety and Nine" before, though, and of course am a sucker for a lost little lamb! The Ninety and Nine refers to the "Parable of the Lost
