Description

1960s/early 1970s Danish Dybdahl Pottery dish

I haven't found much information about David Heger

I believe it reads

The incised text on this one reads: "Come gentlemen and try your skill /  I'll hold a wager if you will / that you cannot drink your fill /without a single drop to spill

are not what I imagine when I think of Russia

Standard Screw Fastened Boots and Shoes 1881 Trade Card slab decoration 1960s/early 1970s Danish Dybdahl PotteryI love the expression on the monk here I guess meant to be St. Crispin, patron saint of cobblers who looks positively rabid at the sight of the Standard Screw Fastened boot dangled in front of him! And the mustache on our knight is pretty great too! Just a fun one, but also from what I can tell a rare one, with a handy 1881 calendar on reverse! 6" x 3 3 8" and in very good condition.
