Seated Thor statue modern interpretation of this ancientThor, the Norse God, was powerful enough to create thunder by striking his mighty hammer, Mjolnir. He would protect both the Gods and mortals alike. The reverse shows Thor delivering the final blow to the giant, Hrungnir, by flinging his trusty hammer.
