with plenty of irregularities to the stone and the carving but no issues

Vintage Brown Glazed Clay Head (MLK) cross stitch H: 6 7/8" l xI purchased this one from the estate of a wonderful artist collector dealer activist near me, along with a second head also listed today I've held on to them for a bit, but thought this a good week to list them, especially as this one strikes me as looking very much like Martin Luther King Jr. (aptly looking quite alarmed) and the other very much like Sherrod Brown! Fourth quarter 20th c or so, amateur made, wonderfully expressive, very good company.
