I haven't been able to find out much of anything about this wonderful little baby bluebird

With the original leather strap still attached across the top with buckle at one end

11 3/4" t x 5 9/16 w" x 4 1/4” d and in very good condition

and this is quite a charming one

grooved sides and a perfectly fitted wooden back--all joined by tiny nails plugged in most cases with tiny wooden caps

Folded bottle caps for the ears, which flip up or back, and for the tail too. And a nice patina to the black caps all around. With what I think is a very good formal succinctness about it like a small scale folk counterpoint to a giant Jeff Koons. 6 3 4" l x 4 7 8" t with ears raised; 4 1 4" t ears down! Excellent vintage
