A very good sized antique mule chest from the Lancashire area, located in the Northwest of England & from the middle part of the reign of King George II. The hinged lid with hand forged iron strap hinges enclosing a generous storage area for clothing or bedding, to the left is a lidded candle till with a hand forged lock and two small drawers below. The front of the chest
