using grafts from the Clos des Epeneaux vineyard in Burgundy
and a small addition of SO 2
This Malvasia from Colares is unlike any other
so the young wine was drawn off after 4 weeks
2022 Uivo Moscatel Galego, Douro, Portugal De Sterlich Aged on fine lees forHarvested from 40ish year old vineyards on a combination of granite and schist soils at around 600 meters of elevation. The fruit is pressed directly off the skins, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks. It then ages for 6 months on the fine lees in cement tank.
