Where almost all of Bierzo sits on slate, this tiny parcel rests on limestone, a rarity that lends the wine a finesse and lift found nowhere else in the range. Perfumed and elegant, it is more Burgundian than Rhne in spirit: floral and red fruited on the nose, velvety on the palate, framed by very fine, chalky tannins. From roughly 0.
