She fell in love with art and sports at an early age. After working for a few years as a sports teacher in Tokyo, she decided to see the world and pursue her other passion: art. She moved to New York City and started working as a graphic designer at an advertising firm. Eventually, she decided to move to San Francisco and start her own design studio in the SoMa district. She created her own brand,
